Despite being up until 3am last night, I still woke up when the first sunlight peeked through the window. I went out for about a 30-minute walk, chasing the beautiful sunrise light. I enjoyed a quiet time of prayer, and at the apex of my walk I spent some time in God’s word. On the way back up to the house, I saw this beautiful spot of light with a couple cows quietly resting. I quickly metered it using the incident spot meter on my Sekonics L-508 (incident measures the light falling on the subject) and then I made some noises, and when the cow slowly turned, I snapped the photo. I love the light.
