After literally months of searching, I finally found a casual ivy cap I liked. It’s made by Jaxson. Also of note is my new watchband, a NATO-style strap from J.Crew that is fresh and new and fun.

ALERT Law Enforcement
9th April 2010Photos shot a week ago for some stock usage here at ALERT. The models are Ryan Ludvigson (Law Enforcement 1st Sgt.) and Kyle Horsman. Both are ALERT Law Enforcement grads and are now part of the security team here. The weapons are Glock 17 hand guns, Springfield SOCOM16 rifle with Surefire foregrip and EOTech sight, Remington 700 shotgun with Surefire front end.

This afternoon, we filled the Library building up with smoke to shoot some firefighting video. Walking through a darkened room with shafts of light spreading through it was beautiful, awe-inspiring, a little trippy. Nothing to orient to but 3-dimensional, narrow shafts of light.

Big tossed salad for lunch—about 553 calories (31g of fat, 31g of carbs, and 47g of protein). Supremely healthy, and packed with enough substance to keep me full all afternoon.
