I love the field of emergency medicine and the incredible difference skilled healthcare providers can make when someone is ill or injured. I took my first EMT-Basic class in 2005, and became a Texas state certified EMT-Paramedic in February 2008. Since then, I have had the privilege to work for two excellent EMS services in the East Texas area and gain valuable experience in the challenging and high-pressure work of prehospital emergency medicine. I’ve also continued to grow in my own knowledge and have sought to help others do the same. My goal is to continue working in medicine, but to seek new challenges and more opportunities to grow.
